My Philosophy
Just. Get. Moving. We are a culture of "all or nothing". Either you commit to a strict regimen of exercising 5 days a week, or you might as well sit on the couch, right? I see it all the time around January, when people make the resolution to live a healthier lifestyle. The problem is, going from minimal to maximal in a matter of one week doesn't last long for about 95% of the population.
My approach is to assess, and then implement. As a certified fitness professional, I believe in a systemic & sustainable approach to achieving whatever goals you may have. That means building the foundation before we build the house, and approaching exercise in such a way that it's something that makes you feel good and wanting more.
I love to hear, "I could never do that", because I promise you can, and if you stick with a program, you will.

Why get moving?
If you could bottle up exercise and make it into a pill, it would be a miracle pill. There are so many benefits that movement and exercise have on the body, but we're too often focused only on the external measures such as weight loss and aesthetic appearance. Internally, the benefits of physical activity are truly miraculous.
